Sometimes you have to paint over everything to find your way. 
"Embrace the Scar" went through so many phases. At one point, I was so close to giving up that I almost painted over the entire canvas. But I kept going.
What emerged on the other side is a story about healing and daring to embrace every scar. They aren't signs of weakness, but proof that we have risen again.
